In 1918, Gioia’s Deli began its life as a grocery store but is now one of the most popular sandwich shops in St. Louis. Owner Alex Donley is the 3rd generation to run his family business, and True Refrigeration has been Gioia’s longstanding choice for trustworthy kitchen equipment.
For a century, Gioia’s Deli has been a fixture of The Hill, St. Louis’ Italian-American community. Gioia’s Deli is the proud winner of the 2017 James Beard Foundation America’s Classic Award.
