World Central Kitchen is a non-profit organization, founded in 2010. Its mission is to provide meals to those affected by natural disasters and other crises around the world. WCK aims to not only feed people in need but also to empower local communities, strengthen economies, and promote sustainable solutions to hunger and poverty. Our True team hosts fundraisers throughout the year to contribute to WCK’s mission!
James Beard Foundation
The James Beard Foundation is a prestigious culinary organization named after James Beard, a renowned American chef, cookbook author, and teacher. Founded in 1986, the foundation’s primary mission is to celebrate, nurture, and honor chefs and other leaders making a significant impact on the food and beverage industry in the United States. The James Beard Foundation is best known for its annual James Beard Awards and operates several other programs and initiatives aimed at promoting culinary excellence, fostering culinary talent, and advocating for a more sustainable and equitable food system.
Operation Food Search
Operation Food Search is a non-profit organization based in St. Louis, Missouri, dedicated to ending hunger in the community by providing food assistance, nutrition education, and advocacy. Founded in 1981, Operation Food Search has grown to become one of the largest food banks in the St. Louis region, distributing millions of pounds of food each year to individuals and families in need. Our donation of quality refrigeration helps organizations provide fresh, healthy food to their community.
Pedal the Cause
In honor of Rob Trulaske, True supports Pedal the Cause. A charitable cycling event that raises funds to support cancer research in the St. Louis, Missouri area. Founded in 2009, Pedal the Cause brings together cyclists of all levels to participate in various rides while raising money for cancer research at local institutions. Alongside this event, True sponsors Taste the Cause by gathering local chefs and restaurants that serve gourmet dishes, desserts, and beverages. All proceeds support research and the fight against cancer.
